The sekt »Réserve« Hohen-Sülzen Kirchenstück Pinot brut nature, vintage 2014 from the winery Sekthaus Raumland has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Disgorged 01/23, the nose shows an open, "sweet" berryish bouquet: sugared redcurrant, but also damp limestone and grapey notes. The palate unfolds a comparatively subtle mousse, the acidity is firm but also ripe, a touch of phenolics invites you to chew, the finish shows a lot of Pinot and also a delicate ripe savouriness.
