The sparkling wine Blanc de blancs, vintage 2015 from the winery Strauch Sektmanufaktur has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Citrus and yeasty notes, and a certain mineral spiciness in the background. On the palate, the mousse is quite wide-meshed, soft and broad, with slowly increasing acidity on the palate and a peppery, chalky finish. In terms of balance, close to "extra brut" - very suitable for the straightforward, mineral style.
