The sekt NV Pinot Blanc brut from the winery Strauch Sektmanufaktur has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Berry, grapey varietal aroma, sweet blossom and Weissburgunder berries, an expressive bouquet, also some liquorice. On the palate, the wine is very well balanced, a firm acidity is buffered by delicate sweetness, the fine mousse provides additional roundness. Beautiful balance!
More about the tastingClear, light yellow colour. On the nose delicate flowers, fine apricot, hazelnut, ripe apple and pear. On the palate fine mousse, fresh fruit, blood grapefruit and peach. Harmoniously balanced with good structure and length, very good as an aperitif.
