The white wine Nozze d'Oro, vintage 2016 from the winery Tasca d’Almerita has been rated in 2018 by Dominik Vombach, Benjamin Herzog with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Inzolia, Sauvignon Blanc from the region Sicily in Italy.
Concentrated bouquet, a bit closed at first but developing quickly. Slightly vegetal, then lots of citrus notes, orange and grapefruit. Also candied fruit, mirabelle, a touch of ginger and cubeb pepper. Juicy on the palate, with fresh, taut acidity, balanced, with a long finish of white peach.
