The fortified wines Taylor's 325th Anniversary Reserve Tawny NV from the winery Taylor’s has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barocca, Tempranillo, Tinto Cao from the region Douro in Portugal.
Presented in a historic bottle, this is a document of the value that matured tawnies hold for Taylor's. The majority of the blend is about seven years old, but unmistakably there is also a shot of very old Tawny. Still has reddish nuances in the colour. Fig, malt, raisin, caramel, gentle oxidation, in the mouth creamy, silky, fine, full of charm, texture and juiciness, mineral core. Continues to have disarming elegance.
