Tasting Notes
A rich, balsamic fruit emerges from the glass: blackberry, elderberry, very ripe blackcurrant. The palate opens creamy, almost oily, the excellent tannins are soft and grippy at the same time, almost polished and yet giving structure. The acidity provides good support without being isolated. Fullness and mellowness, minerality and finesse. Amazing depth for an Ortswein.
