Apple and apple peel, cider, Mirabelle plum, pear, herbal and mineral hints, fine, smokey savouriness. On the palate, full-bodied and also with good substance, ripe, crystalline acidity, powerful, mellow phenolics, savoury, emphatically dry, with a chalky mineral base.
