Tasting Notes
Complex savouriness on the nose: warm brick, cumin and tikka masala. It's supple and full in the mouth, but also with power that recalls an iron fist in a velvet glove. It's finely fading, with a subtle thread of acidity and mineral savouriness remaining.
More about the tastingPurple curry, medlar, rock, crisp acidity, a hint of botrytis, again the creamy silky texture, generous, viscously layered, silky, savouriness in early form, creamy, delicate and linear, still compact, yet long. Mineral at the end.
More about the tastingMedlar, rock, crisp acidity, leaner than 2012 and 2013, but still with the typical creamy, silky texture of the site, generous, layered like a puff pastry with viscosity and subtle phenolics, fine acidity, a spiciness in early form, a first development is already there, very long finish.
