The red wine »Amator«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Emil Bauer und Söhne has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Chocolatey aroma, some cherry, slightly floral. Juicy in the mouth, fine tannins, creamy, here too the chocolate aromas, ripe acidity, slightly mineral, seems to be characterised by the Grenache, an elegant Côtes du Rhône from the Pfalz.
