The red wine »Meisterwerk« trocken, vintage 2012 from the winery Weingut Escher has been rated in 2015 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Franc from the region Württemberg in Germany.
A chocolate-cherry inferno on the nose, complemented by Black Forest cherry, plum jam, light cedar spice and a full handful of dried fruit. Massive on the palate, super-concentrated fruit with high extract and an ethereal, balsamic note on the finish.
