Smoky, mineral-focussed Chardonnay with restrained fruit reminiscent of pear and apple crisps. Delicately reminiscent of lime blossom. Serious, Francophile, sophisticated. A gripping impression on the palate with fine cream and great length.
More about the tastingSubtle use of wood, a hint of buttery, red apple, yolk flower, gripping palate, structured and dense, almost austere, very Burgundian in cut, hardly built on fruit, but taut and mineral-tinged. Very good freshness.
