Tasting Notes
Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. A very inviting bouquet, with delicately savoury notes, hints of plums and nougat and subtle oak nuances. Powerful, juicy and complex, in a fruity, cool style, full of finesse, perfectly ripe tannins as rarely seen, resulting from the cool nights of August, great length with a slightly savoury finish. Perhaps the finest wine among the great G vintages, slowing heading towards its maturation plateau, but still has a long way to go. (2025, drink, keep +30)
