The red wine G, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Gesellmann has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 100 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Sankt Laurent from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Deep ruby garnet colour, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Fine nuances of bourbon vanilla, some bergamot, nougat, fresh red cherries, a hint of cloves, multi-faceted bouquet. Powerful, juicy, complex, pronounced fruit texture, fine acidity, perfectly ripe tannins, mineral and salty, has a stunning length, some nougat, lingers for minutes, great ageing potential.
