The red wine G, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Gesellmann has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Dark ruby, deep core, purple reflections, subtle brightening brightening on the rim. A very fine, seductive bouquet, with nuances of liquorice, a touch of cassis, mandarin zest and floral hints. Juicy and elegant, with ripe berries, a rich acidic structure, full of finesse, perfectly matured tannins, mineral notes and a very long lasting finish. A wine that appears to be from a single mould, despite the hot days, has convincing freshness, is compact and endowed with a salty minerality. A great wine, an Austrian milestone.
