Tasting Notes
Dark ruby with purple reflections, delicately brighter at the edge. Dark fruits of the forest confit with a delicate floral and oak-inflected background, liquorice and black cherry, too. Full-bodied, with sweet black cherry, a hint of cassis and finesse-rich acidity. With seamlessly integrated tannins, it is very lively and light-footed, and mineral-salty with red berry nuances on the finish. Good ageing potential.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Delicately floral underlaid by attractive dark forest berry conserve, fine notes of liquorice and black cherry, subtle noble wood in the background. Substantial, sweet black cherry, a hint of cassis, elegant acidity, seamlessly integrated tannins. Very lively and light-footed, mineral-saltiness on the finish, enormous length, despite its youth already "close to perfection".
