Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with purple reflections, broad and bright with a slight lightening on the rim. Aromas of wood, iodine (whiskey, peat), and Florentine chocolate from the oak are complemented by black cherry and hints of bergamot and orange zest. The palate is juicy, elegant and round, with structured fine acidity and integrated spicy oak. A core of cherry fruit and delicate ripe plum notes are evident on the long, minerally finish.
