The aroma is restrained, slightly yeasty, with a subtle hint of wood underpinning a varietal flavour of honey and baked apple. The palate seems to be all of a piece: acidity, fine mousse and a pinch of phenolics form an exciting, dense structure, the finish is compact and fresh.
