The white wine »Mineral« Chardonnay, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Oliver Zeter has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Hints of oak ageing characterise the nose, but there is also a darker, slightly ethereal undertone reminiscent of aniseed and liquorice. It becomes much more approachable upon the first sip. There is an amazing textural roundness that impresses, the pronounced acidity is perfectly integrated into this suppleness. Full-bodied and powerful.
