The red wine Rêve de Jeunesse 32, vintage 2011 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2016 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Zweigelt, Syrah from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby colour with opaque core and purple reflections, delicate brightening on the rim. Nuances of dark berries with a touch of noble oak in the background, hints of blackberries and liquorice, mineral accents. Complex, very concentrated, pronounced fruity texture, powerful, structured tannins, chocolaty on the finish, a Latour-inspired monolith that still needs a few years of bottle ageing to fully develop.
