The red wine Rosso e Nero, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Pöckl has been rated in 2025 by Peter Moser with 91 - 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Zweigelt, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Burgenland in Austria.
Deep, dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, a touch of vanilla, hints of spice, delicate notes of cassis, dark berries and ripe plums. Juicy and mineral, with fine tannins and notes of dark wild berry confit on the finish. Still needs, time, definite ageing potential.
