The natural wine »Erdreich« Landwein trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Schmitt has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Scheurebe, Gelber Muskateller from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Gelber Muskateller and Scheurebe, on the nose marked by yeast, behind it fragrant aromas with some currant and blade of mace. The juicy palate has a salty undertone, slightly tart, phenolic notes, lean and intense with apple notes. It is still youthful, patience will be rewarded.
