The red wine »Reserve« Merlot trocken, vintage 2015 from the winery Weingut Schneider-Pfefferle has been rated in 2019 with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Baden in Germany.
Cherry fruit and wood, a hint of herbs, but also birch leaf tea, juicy with sweet fruit, very supple in the background, mellow, dense tannin. A compact, almost powerful wine with strong alcohol and rather mild acidity - still very young.
