The rosé »Selektion« Merlot Rosé trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Schneider-Pfefferle has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Merlot from the region Baden in Germany.
Salmon orange in colour. An openly fruity aroma escapes the glass, with sweet grape, black currant and heart cherry. In the mouth the wine is wonderfully fresh, compact and juicy, with a subtle phenolic grip that builds tension. Mineral tones provide backbone.
