The red wine elegy, vintage 2007 from the winery Weingut Silvia Heinrich has been rated in 2011 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Central Burgenland in Austria.
Deep ruby-garnet colour, purple reflections, delicate watery rim. Fine precious wood savouriness, liquorice, cassis, orange zest, smoky, ethereal nuances on the nose. Juicy, fine blackberry fruit, well-integrated tannins, finesse-rich acidity, ripe sweet cherries on the finish, remains very persistent, already easy to drink, mineral in the aftertaste, good development and certain ageing potential.
