The white wine »Veritas« Wipfeld Zehntgraf Silvaner trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Uwe Gessner has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Silvaner from the region Franconia in Germany.
The nose is still subtly influenced by the ageing in wooden barrels, savoury and nutty savouriness, ripe pear, apple and also yellow-fruity aromas, smoke, smoked chestnuts. Firmly built on the palate, focused in its orientation with stable acidity and salty minerality, pear, apple and quince with some salty lemon, good length, not yet at the end of its development.
