The red wine "1859-2024" 18er Regent Auslese Barrique, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinhof Winter has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Regent from the region Saale-Unstrut in Germany.
Ripe fruit and spice open the nose, figs, sweet cherries, plums, dark caramel, tobacco, reminiscent of Amarone. A good balance of ripe fruit and fresh acidity on the palate, fine spice, dense minerality and good length, an independent Regent.
