Tasting Notes
Smells almost like a sweet Muscatel! Raisin-aromatic, "warm", cooked fruit, plum, dark berries, café au lait, some fig, Malaga, black pepper. Enormous power on the palate, but with a firm tannin structure despite the ripe to overripe fruit and the almost viscous creaminess. The alcohol is well integrated, stable acidity provides balance and even mineral sensations emerge. Very original and successful.
