Golden yellow in colour. On the nose, you can detect intense roasted wood, as well as bâtonnage notes from the stirring of the yeast. On the palate, the wine is powerful, the strong alcohol is kept in check by mellow phenolics, fruit and a clear tactile minerality. Extract, ripe acidity and soft components are tightly interwoven - an exciting and ultimately still young wine.
