Tasting Notes
Intense floral notes - violets, and liquorice, fragrant hints of new oak spices, in addition to spicy-mineral aromas. A grainy density to the palate, clear, dry, currently very closed and introverted, virile tannins hold firm over juicy pronounced fruit, sophisticated acidity structure, excellent tactile minerality. Classic, recognisably Montrose without any fuss or unnecessary ballast.
