Strong ruby with purple reflections and subtle rim brightening. Fine balsamic nuances, tobacco, a touch of violets, nuances of blackberry, subtle hints of black truffle. Powerful, juicy, fine cherry, firm tannins, pronounced in fruit on the finish, fine acidity, delicate nougat, good minerality, a touch of Valrhôna chocolate on the finish. (Drink/store +30)

Deep dark ruby garnet colour with almost opaque core, purple brightening on the rim, fine sweet blackberry notes on the nose, vanilla, enormous texture. Wonderful balance on the palate, delicate interplay of fruit, perfect tannins, fine chocolate, full-bodied, very, very long, shows huge ageing potential.
