The red wine Alicante Costa Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Ampeleia has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Alicante Bouschet from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, shiny cherry red with a flint core. A clear and intense nose of plum stew. Crisp and juicy on the palate, showing clear fruit, fresh body with delicate tannins, not particularly complex but lots of fun.
