The red wine Ampeleia IGT, vintage 2003 from the winery Ampeleia has been rated in 2006 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Deep ruby garnet, dark core, violet reflections. Delicately vegetal nose, leafy notes, dark berry fruit. Delicate tobacco tannins on the palate, still a little rough, pleasant extract sweetness, powerful texture, fine plum touch, mineral note, lingers for a long time, very good potential, versatile food companion.
