Tasting from 13.07.2017: Ulrich Sautter

Sweet cherry jam, sage tea, Ricola herbal sugar. Elegant palate, juicy with carefully selected tannins, and expressive in a medium-bodied way. Harmonious, proportioned, rather mild in acidity, yet not cloying. To grilled fish.

Brilliant ruby. Opens with pronounced spicy notes of cardamom and rosemary, then lots of pomegranate. Beautiful playfulness on the palate, hearty, gripping tannins, present fruit, salty and long finish.
