The red wine Ampeleia IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Ampeleia has been rated in 2010 with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich dark ruby. Intense, dense nose, smells of lilies and roasted hazelnuts, the fruit remains in the background. Full-bodied, rich tannins on the palate, builds beautifully, grippy, coated in sweet enamel, hearty.
