The red wine Torre Muga Rioja DOCa, vintage 2011 from the winery Bodegas Muga has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Tempranillo, Carignan, Graciano from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Graciano. Wood and dark berry fruit, closed overall, on the palate with power and enormous pressure, crumbly tannin that slowly increases on the palate, rather discreet acidity, noticeable alcohol, definitely mineral, but overall very forced, the alcoholic strength reaches the limits of harmony despite the tight extract.
