The red wine Lupicaia IGT, vintage 2011 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2015 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with purple hues. Compact and at the same time finely drawn on the nose, opens with notes of wild dark raspberries and cassis, underpinned by tobacco notes. A lot of juicy and vivid fruit on the palate, opens with finely meshed, dense tannins, builds well, salty, long finish.
