The red wine Lupicaia Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2007 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
A dark, shiny garnet colour with ruby red hues and a subtle garnet rim. Intense aromas, cassis, dried tomatoes, coffee and balsamic notes on the nose, with a hint of black tea and maquis scrub. A pleasant freshness and juiciness on the palate with vivid tannins and good length, with plenty of savoury herbs on the finish.
