Intense ruby with a slight purple hue. Initial aromas of cigar and cedar wood, then dark redcurrant, elderberry and savoury maquis herbs. Very clear and profound on the palate, with precise, intense, multi-layered tannins, well balanced, an emphasis on the savoury notes on the long, lingering finish.
