The red wine Lupicaia Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby with slight brightening on the rim. Opens with notes of tar and graphite, then dark currant and blackberry, seems very balanced. Lots of finely-meshed, polished tannin, salty, shows very good depth, long finish, has developed and opened up very nicely since the last tasting in 2018.
