Tasting Notes
Light salmon pink, fine silver reflections. Delicate red wild berry confit underpinned with fruity and fresh hints of grapefruit and peach. Balanced, nuances of raspberry and cherry, pleasantly dry and with an appealing texture to drink, mineral citric touch on the finish, and a fresh captivating acidity. When well chilled at the edge of the pool it is the sense of pure summer.
More about the tastingInitially a very closed bouquet, then notes of ripe pineapple, buttered toast, grapefruit and blood orange. Also gooseberry, redcurrant and cherry. Develops quite quickly in the glass towards complexity. On the palate, gripping acidity that pervades, tropical fruit and a mineral, grippy finish. Ends on fine berry fruit and a slightly peppery note.
