Tasting Notes
November 2005: Medium carmine garnet, vital reflexes, broad rim brightening. Very inviting on the nose, intense licorice, delicately underlaid with cassis, but also the typical medicinal touch, delicate iodine. Full-bodied on the palate, fine blackberry confit, finely structured, balanced and full of character, fine nougat on the finish. A typical, attractive La Mission with round tannins. A very rare, so-called "small" vintage that still offers plenty of drinking pleasure.
