Tasting Notes
Barrel sample: Deep dark ruby garnet, delicate violet reflections, nougat on the nose, some chestnuts, cherries, very concentrated on the palate, the tannins still rub a little on the tongue, fresh acidity, but lingers well, a wine that will need its time, something to age, serious character, delicate roasted aromas on the finish. Better than last year.
