Strong crimson garnet, broad ochre rim, orange reflections. Fine hints of chocolate, underlaid with a touch of ethereal, ripe blackberry, black truffle, discreet herbal note. On the palate pronounced fruit and complex, shows a very good freshness, mineral and lemony, pleasant chocolate note on the finish, fine mineral nuances, still has length and further ageing potential.

More about the tastingMedium carmine garnet, broad ochre rim. Delicate balsamic notes on the nose, a hint of dried mushrooms, tobacco spice, underlaid with dark berry confit, mineral touch. Shows good complexity on the palate, chocolaty texture, has a firm tannin reserve, mineral and good persistence, shows a delicately smoky peat note on the finish that would do credit to many a single malt whisky.
