Tasting Notes
Strong ruby, delicate ochre rim. A a touch of smoky bacon which dissipates with air, pleasant red wild berry confit and tender cherry notes. Juicy texture, elegantly laid out, has good fruit expression, integrated tannins, mineral touch, hints of orange in the lasting aftertaste.
More about the tastingNovember 2005: Medium garnet red, broad ochre rim. Fine spice of aromatic herbs on the nose, sweet heart cherries, smoky-tobacco, also a hint of animal. Firm, well-rounded tannins on the palate, some grapefruit, mineral and compact, dark berry confit echoes, firm residual potential for many, many more years.
