Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, opaque core, delicate rim brightening. Noble wood, nougat, cedar and vanilla, black cherries, some cassis, red pepper, multi-faceted bouquet. Taut, tightly meshed, ripe plums, fine acid arc, integrated, supporting tannins, strict definition, convincing freshness, seems light on its feet, mineral, fine fruit sweetness on the finish, certainly length, nice balance and length. (2030-2060).
More about the tastingOn the nose there is elderberry, tobacco, cassis, trace of balsamic in the background, tree resin. A finely woven palate, reserved, almost a little shy, but nevertheless with considerable depth, ripe acidity, immense, flawless extract and a long plateau phase. Bottle age will only make this better.
