Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Tobacco, smoky wood spice, mineral, fine nuances of cassis and liquorice. Elegant on the palate, fine nuances of sweet cherries, integrated, fully ripe tannins, elegant and harmonious, currants and a touch of red berries on the finish, already appears accessible at first glance, but is still a long way from that, those who are patient for another ten years will have a lot more fun with this wine.
More about the tastingDeep dark ruby garnet, violet reflections, delicate edge brightening, black berries, nuances of licorice and blackberry confit, fine hints of orange zest, floral notes, ripe berry fruit. Powerful, very firm and present tannins, black berry fruit, fine nougat notes, dark minerality, racy acid structure, bitter chocolate in the aftertaste, somewhat bulky in the finish, monolithic style.
More about the tastingFine blackberry fruit, delicate notes of cassis, hints of precious wood, a hint of damp undergrowth. Full-bodied, good complexity, elegantly structured, full of finesse, less monolithic as usual, chocolaty finish, cassis again on the finish, good ageing potential.
