Tasting Notes
Medium ruby in colour, already ochre underneath. On the nose, initial aromas of delicate medicinal/herbal spices, with air revealing fine cinnamon stick, fine dark berry fruit underpinned by tobacco nuances and subtle nougat. The palate has a juicy body, with a subtly animalistic core, lively and full of red berry fruit, with good fruit on the finish, a delicious wine with an almost Burgundian charm, a perfect single bottle. (2011/drink).
