Tasting Notes
2003: Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections. Fine caramel sweetness on the nose, hints of coconut, smoky toast aromas, which diminish somewhat with more air. Textured on the palate, massive tannins, bitter chocolate, hints of red berry fruit underneath, shows a fresh acid structure, sweet, vital, fine melting, at the moment a delicately acidic wine, bitter chocolate on the finish. 2006: Textured, chocolaty, finely spiced toast aromas. Dense and powerful on the palate, very elegant matter, a racy structured Mouton with good length and freshness, correspondingly massive, present tannins, pleasant bitter chocolate finish.
