Tasting Notes
Deep ruby garnet in colour, with a broad watery rim. Dark berry jam on the nose, with some cassis, blackberry and chocolate, as well as suede notes and the exotic savourinesss of cinnamon. A finely roasted note of mocha also emerges, making for an attractive, typical bouquet. Elegant on the palate, with almost a hint of broadness thanks to the distinctive tannins that are well integrated. The core of sweet dark berry continues through to the finish, with a touch of dark chocolate too. It's finely structured, with some somewhat demanding elements on the finish. Good length, a multi-faceted food companion. Drink/store +15.
