Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby garnet, very good depth of color, violet reflections, delicate watery rim. Deep blackberry notes on the nose, some oranges, very delicately ethereal, somewhat reserved, nuances of roasted aromas, coffee. Full-bodied on the palate, mineral, very firm tannins, strawberry aftertaste, a wine with potential, but which does not show itself. Still very austere. June 2006: Delicate roasted notes, rather restrained, yet inviting dark berry bouquet. Good fruit on the palate, powerful body, delicate hints of cocoa, very mineral, firm tannins, good development potential.
